April 16: Crime Stoppers Invitational Golf Classic
On Monday, April 16th, Crime Stoppers of Greenville will hold its Invitational Golf Classic at The Pebble Creek Club in Greenville, SC. This tournament has raised in excess of $100K over the last three years and they are are confident this year they will be even more successful. They are expecting more than 140 golfers and 25-30 volunteers to help with the event and are in need of any support whether it is support of a team, sponsorship level at the tournament or door prizes.
Crime Stoppers of Greenville, Inc. is a non-profit and non-funded organization. Since 1982 when it was spearheaded by area business leaders, the organization has helped law enforcement clear more than 7700 cases and make over 2600 arrests. These arrests have led to the recovery of more than $4.7 million in stolen property, narcotics, cash, contraband, and damaged property.
